I have to take a pass on this piece. Even though the costumes and iridescent fans were a visual treat, I personally don’t believe that belly dance is an ensemble sport, and that bias would color my opinion in a way that would be unfair to the choreographer and to this troupe of dancers. It should be sufficient that the audience really liked it.
